Fairweather shared living house provides temporary housing to students with low level social and emotional needs.
The shared living house accommodates five people. Each person has their own bedroom, whilst the main kitchen, bathrooms and laundry facilities are shared. Tenants have a six-month short hold tenancy. Whilst the accommodation is shared, we promote safe independent living.
A small staff team are on hand to ensure that each tenant is claiming housing benefit, the house is being kept in good order and are accessing the right support in the community according to their needs.
During their time in our housing we have found that the personal growth of our service users has been outstanding. We treat people fairly and equally and have found this to be one of the contributing factors in the success of the tenants we have worked with.
EQUALITY AND DIVERSITY:
The house promotes and celebrates a diversity of gender, culture, age, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation and disability.
