Investors In People Award Achievement -

In its 25th year, Fairweather is pleased to announce that at the end
of March 2007, the award of Investors in People was presented to the
organisation. The award is an outstanding achievement of the
dedication and support provided by staff and management committee.
The report presented to Fairweather by YHAL indicated the following
summarised points:
"dynamic role model leadership with a
Director who enjoys managing change and is happy to be supported by
external professionals/mentorship".
"clarity of vision, mission and philosophy"
"rigorous quality assurance processes including QAF and PQASSO"
"an environment of continuous improvement built upon management and
peer support"
"staff were able to explain 'with passion' the objectives for the
organisation, for their teams and individuals"
"staff felt that the approach taken was in the spirit of enabling
and empowering"
The report highlights how people's contribution to the organisation
is valued and recognised.

opportunities to put forward ideas and suggestions...striking the
right balance with praise is never easy...'I don't like too much
positive feedback as I just like to get on and do my job!"...staff
informed they are systematically informed, engaged and involved in
the feedback process"

delivery, management and utilisation of resources"
Improvements are continually made to the way people are managed and
developed.

and pace...overall you continue to refine your policies and

Fairweather would like to thank all staff and management committee
who helped in achieving the success of the award, our stakeholders
whose continued support and contribution helps Fairweather to move
